The mandate to start passion conference came in 2004 while the convener (Dr. Aderemi Badru) was a student at Federal Polytechnic Ede, The Lord spoke to Him that He is raising an army of babies with what whom he has ordained strength in this end time to bring a great revival in our land and to take the nations for Christ. The Lord made it clear to Him in the place of prayers that most of the youths have no knowledge of his agenda for them and that through this conference they will be ignited with the fire for Jesus.

Passion conference is a burden born out of the Lord calling the attention of His servant to a dancing church in a dying world. A church whose passion for Jesus and soul winning has been replaced with entertainments and other distractions. Therefore, Passion conference is aimed at reviving the passion for Jesus in the church and the passion for winning souls for Jesus. Passion conference is a mandate to raise an army of young people who will take the world for Jesus. This conference is aimed at igniting the passion for the Lord in the youths, to help them live purposeful lives for the Lord and to unleash their potentials to enthrone Jesus over the nations.

In the last twenty years, students and youths have gathered from several tertiary institutions and churches to be set ablaze for God. This conference that started in Nigeria in 2004 has also been hosted in North America and Europe according to the instruction of the Lord to the conveners (Dr Aderemi & Itunnu Badru).

The 2025 Passion Conference is a call by God to His people to return to the ancient Path and it will be hosted in Nigeria at two centers. The call this year is a follow up of what the Lord instructed us on last year which is to stop chasing shadows but return to the ancient Path that we might find rest for our souls.

We therefore want to welcome you all to Passion Conference 2025. We know that you will be transformed and received by the power of the Holy Spirit in this year's conference. Pay attention to everything that the Lord will be saying to you during this conference and be ready to act on them.
